A high school friend of mine who just began his journey as a musician wanted to release a few songs he had been working on. He had recently reconnected with me and asked if I make album covers. I told him I hadn’t done anything official before, but would love to create something for him. I was given free rein to create anything that matched the tone of his music. As I listened to the psychedelic, bluesy, rock track I imagined themes of space, voyage, and exploration into the unknown. I captured those themes in a variety of sketches which was finally produced into a powerful image on the album cover.
